Research & scientific collaboration

Make the research question more precise, together.

KPCIRC welcomes scoped collaborations with academic groups, hospitals, laboratories and industry. Good collaborations start with a narrow question, clear data arrangements and limitations written down from the beginning.

How a collaboration is scoped

  1. Question

Agree a narrow, answerable research question and the intended outputs.

  2. Data and permissions

Define data sources, de-identification, access, consent basis and permitted use.

  3. Methods

Agree methods, controls, provenance tracking and how uncertainty will be reported.

  4. Governance

Confirm roles, ethics approvals where needed, publication and IP arrangements.

  5. Delivery and review

Deliver agreed outputs and review what was and was not established.

Research boundaries

Research and model findings are not presented as proof of clinical efficacy. Outputs labelled Research Use Only or investigational stay labelled that way. Patient-level data is never exchanged through website forms.
