Cancer Care

Clearer questions. Better-organised conversations about care.

A cancer diagnosis can bring difficult decisions and a large amount of information. KPCIRC provides defined clinical review and support pathways to help patients and families understand what is known and discuss their questions with qualified clinicians.

The right service depends on your diagnosis, treatment history, current situation and the questions you want to address. KPCIRC services complement, rather than automatically replace, your relationship with your treating oncologist.

How KPCIRC may help

Oncology consultation and care planning

Discuss the available diagnosis, reports, current situation and your questions about the proposed plan. Advice depends on the information available and the clinician’s assessment.

Oncology second opinion

An additional clinical perspective when you want clarity about a diagnosis, proposed treatment or next decision. It may confirm the existing plan or raise points for discussion; it does not guarantee a different or better outcome.

Understanding a molecular report

If you already have an NGS or molecular report, ask whether POAS or another review pathway is appropriate. A detected alteration does not automatically mean a treatment will work or be suitable.

Genetics and hereditary risk

If personal or family history raises questions about inherited risk, a structured assessment and genetic counselling can help clarify whether testing is appropriate.

Progression review

A structured reassessment when new imaging, symptoms or test results raise questions. Your treating clinician decides any next step.

Supportive care and navigation

Depending on availability and your situation, coordination of agreed consultations, reviews and follow-up.

Day care and infusion

Prescribed treatment sessions and selected supportive infusions at confirmed sites.

This website and its enquiry forms are not an emergency service. For severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, urgent complications or an emergency, contact local emergency services or seek immediate in-person medical care. Do not wait for a website response.

Common questions

Can I request a second opinion if I already have a treating oncologist?

Yes. A second opinion can provide additional perspective. Your existing treating relationship should continue unless you and your clinicians agree on a change.

Should I upload all my medical records?

No. Only share information requested for the chosen service, through the approved secure process. Do not send sensitive records by general email or other unapproved channels.

Can KPCIRC guarantee a particular treatment option?

No. Clinical recommendations depend on individual circumstances, evidence, eligibility, availability and the responsible clinician’s assessment.
